There are five golf courses in the district, with one in Didsbury itself. The village has a lively café and restaurant scene, and there are also a number of independent shops and boutiques. The village is on the Trans-Pennine Trail for those guests who enjoy hiking and trekking, and East Didsbury railway station is within easy walking distance, providing transport links to the whole region.

Didsbury House boutique hotel has 27 rooms and suites, all elegantly appointed and spacious. They are individually designed, with relaxing colour schemes combined with tactile fabrics and soft lighting, and feature a range of amenities, including TVs, CD players, minibars and safes. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with overhead monsoon showers and complimentary Temple SPA toiletries.

There are eight Classic rooms situated on two floors of Didsbury House. These are our smaller rooms and vary in shape and size from 16 -21 sq m. Large comfortable bed; Large bathtub with overhead monsoon shower.
There are four Villa rooms, larger than the Classics and vary in size from 22-26 sq m, all with King size beds. Large bathtub with overhead monsoon shower.
Eclectic:
There are five Eclectic rooms situated on the ground and first floor of Didsbury House. These rooms vary in size from 19 -26 sq m. Large comfortable bed; Free standing roll-top bath; Walk-in monsoon shower; Comfortable seating area.
Eclectic Villa:
There are four Eclectic Villa rooms situated on two floors of Didsbury House. These rooms vary in size from 30-32 sq m. Super King size bed; Free-standing roll top bath; Walk-in monsoon shower; Comfortable seating area.
Duplex:
There are two Duplex Rooms situated on the first floor of Didsbury House ranging in size from 33 to 35 sq m. Large comfortable bed; Roll top cast iron bath; Walk in monsoon shower; Comfortable seating area.
These unique rooms have been especially designed with "loft studio living" in mind. Decorated in a pale colour palette with soft fabrics and accessories adding to its relaxed character. The lower floor bedroom has a working desk with a staircase leading up to the balcony bathroom overlooking the sleeping area.
Duplex Suite:
Room Features There are two Duplex Junior Suites situated on the ground floor of Didsbury House ranging from 36 to 37 sq m. Large king size bed; Roll top cast iron bath; Walk in wetroom with monsoon shower; Comfortable lounge area.
These junior suites are designed with a "contemporary living" feeling in mind decorated in a soft colour scheme throughout.
The lower floor has a comfortable seating area and working desk with stairs leading up to the balcony bedroom which has a large stand alone cast iron bath overlooking the lounge.
Boudoir Suite:
Room Features: The Boudoir Loft Suite is situated on the second floor of Didsbury House and is approx. 63 sq m. Loft Apartment feel; Large comfortable bed; Roll top cast iron bath; Walk in monsoon shower; Separate comfortable lounge area with large sofas.
This is one of our most popular suites, set into the eaves of the house. This private suite has been designed with creature comforts in mind. The cosy lounge has an array of comfortable furniture which provides an ideal environment for leisure or work.
Opus Loft Suite:
Room Features: The Opus Loft Suite is situated on the second floor of Didsbury House and is approx. 67 sq m. Loft Apartment feel; Large King size bed; Two roll top cast iron baths; Walk in monsoon shower; Separate comfortable lounge with comfy sofas.
Our largest suite is uniquely designed and appointed to the highest of standards. The uniqueness of this suite is in contrast to its former use as the servants' quarters of the original villa.
