After being occupied and bombed during the Second World War, Castello di Monterado's spectacular public rooms and suites have been painstakingly restored to their former glory, and feature high vaulted ceilings with splendid frescoes and paintings, elegant period furniture and period artefacts. The magnificent dining room is especially worthy of mention, and there is also a well equipped billiards room and a cosy library. Guests may also enjoy strolls in the elegant Italian garden, or cooling dips in the swimming pool, with views of the Adriatic and bordered by a sheltering wood.
