Just outside the fabled Red City of Marrakech is a grand estate of immense gardens, olive groves, shaded courtyards, and fountains with the protagonist being the rose-hued building with Moorish archways and architecture. This luxury estate is Amanjena, a palace rich with history and, now, hospitality as it has been transformed to be one of the region’s most elegant hotels. Amanjena features endless gastronomic experiences including its own Moroccan restaurant, a Japanese-inspired restaurant, dining in the olive groves on the terrace or in a tent, and an exquisite bar. Amanjena also boasts its own spa and hammam, tennis courts, and yoga classes.

Amanjena consist of rose-coloured Pavilions and Maisons scattered throughout the property featuring Berber carpets, high ceilings, and zellij-tiled floors. Many of these secluded dwellings offer their own outdoor dining space and private pool.

There is much to experience around Amanjena, most of which can be organized by the hotel. The varied surrounding landscapes of snow-capped mountains and sandy deserts make Amanjena a perfect home base to delight oneself in all that the region has to offer. Agafay Desert picnic and camel rides, hot air balloon rides, and sidecar experiences are just some of the awaiting activities.

The luxury Pavilions and Maisons of Amanjena all offer daily breakfast at the Moroccan Restaurant, afternoon tea, round-trip transfers from the airport, and coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms. They also feature a private marbled bathroom, TV, safe, and air conditioning.

Pavilion Bassin: Ideal for a romantic getaway, the Pavilion Bassin is a 175 sqm home with a king bed, living room, and fireplace. The private outdoor courtyard has a traditional gazebo and daybed and is decorated with Moroccan accents. Complimentary wi-fi is also provided.
Pavilion: These pavilions are also 175 sqm in size with a large traditional living space with a fireplace, bedroom with a king bed, and a private courtyard with Venetian-styled stucco domes and lounging sofas. The interiors are decorated with Berber carpets and tiled floors.
Pavilion Piscine: This lovely pavilion is larger than the other two with a size of 220 sqm with opulent interior resembling traditional Moroccan style complete with a living area and king bed. The exterior features a private heated swimming pool with surrounded lounge chairs and an outdoor dining space.
Maison: The Maisons are spacious 360 sqm homes with views over the central basin and ideal for larger groups. They feature two bedrooms each with an ensuite and a living room which opens up to a private swimming pool. There is a garden area with outdoor dining space and pool loungers.
Maison Jardin: The majestic Maison Jardin spans two floors with grand high ceilings featuring traditional architecture and plenty of open space connecting the interior living area with the outdoor terrace. This palatial maison features two bedrooms with ensuites bathrooms, a large living area, and a separate dining space with a fireplace. The outdoor courtyard features its own private pool and dining space with another fireplace. The entirety of the maison is 572 sqm.
Al Hamra Maison: The Al Hamra Maison is unlike any other accommodation. It is a mansion within itself spanning a massive 1130 sqm. This palace features two bedrooms with ensuite marble bathrooms connected by a living space and dining area which then open up to the spacious outdoor area. The outdoor space boasts a private garden, dining space, traditional gazebos, lounge area, and private pool. The interior also features a private bar and stocked pantry. There is complimentary Wi-Fi, champagne upon arrival, and even a guest bathroom.
