Once the property of the art collector and publisher Otto Horn, Rebenhaus Meissen was built around 1830. After a long and eventful history, the house fell into disrepair after the second world war, and was rescued in 2007 by its present owners. Painstakingly restored with respect for the original structure and materials of the house, this charming property now offers two boutique-style apartments in a splendid location, standing in the midst of its own vineyards and overlooking the river Elbe and the beautiful historic town of Meissen.

Ideal for relaxing visits to this beautiful corner of the Free State of Saxony, guests at Rebenhaus Meissen enjoy unobstructed panoramic views of the old town of Meissen, the Albrechtsburg and the cathedral from the windows of the apartments. A small footpath through the vineyard leads to the medieval centre of the town, while the Elbe Cycle Path is also within easy reach.

Apartment 'Sorgenfrei', Apartment 'Glücksfall':
These spacious two-bedroom apartments feature two extra-large double beds with top-quality mattresses and bedding, a living room with a beautiful brick fireplace (wood is provided), a television, a compact stereo system and a DVD player, and a balcony with garden views.

The fully equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher and washing machine, and the large en-suite bathroom has a shower. 'Sorgenfrei' has a free-standing roll-top bath, while 'Glücksfall' has a corner bath. Sorgenfrei also has an additional separate bathroom-utility room with a washing machine and dryer. These apartments can accommodate up to six guests. Apartment size approximately 100 sq m including balcony.

The two apartments are fully equipped with everything necessary for a tranquil, relaxing stay, and come with all bed linen, towels, a fully equipped kitchen with all cutlery, crockery, glassware and cleaning utensils. Dolce Gusto and espresso machines are also provided, along with a toaster, kettle, and a full range of cooking equipment.
