It is an oasis built within the original walls of a traditional Andalusian home dating back to the 1700s which as been refurbished and reformed with maintaining its character such as the interior patio and the façade. The hotel’s mission is to provide relaxation through minimalism and class. A part from its obvious tranquil features, it dons a lovely brunch café restaurant, Viento Sur, serving Spanish and Mediterranean dishes.

The rooms of Opuntia Hotel Boutique have been restored since their fist construction many years before but still portray their Andalusian character through the interior patios and Juliet balconies. They are simplistic, but welcoming and each piece has been carefully selected to promote harmony.

Opuntia Hotel Boutique is located in the center of Mijas, situated in the heart of Costa del Sol and is very close to many of the region’s famous cities such as Malaga and Marbella. The surrounding area has many opportunities for scuba diving, sailing, fishing and hiking in the Senda Litoral, while Mijas town itself is a wonder to explore with its Arabic origin and whitewashed streets.

Double Room 01: A playful room due to its large windows opening up to Mijas’ lively plazas, this room is 19 sqm in size with a large king bed locate don the first floor.
Double room 02: A bright a spacious room of 17 sqm looking over the main streets from its large windows, it includes a large king bed and is on the first floor.
Double Room 03: Looking over the charming San Sebastian church, this larger room of 25 sqm features a king bed and views of the streets below.
Double Room 04: This room boasts views of the hotel’s interior patio from the first floor and features a large king bed in a room of 22 sqm.
Junior Suite 05: This lovely suite of 35 sqm has wonderful views of the inner patio, its own private kitchen, a king bed, and a dining table for two.
Double Room 06: This 24 sqm room with a large king bed is located on the second floor and has its own 9 sqm private terrace with views of the main plaza.
Double Room 07: The seventh room is 19 sqm also with a 9 sqm private terrace overlooking San Sebastian Church and the mountains from the second floor and features a large king bed.
Junior Suite 08: Ideal for longer stays, this suite of 48 sqm has a 10 sqm terrace plus a separate balcony. It has views of the interior patio from the first floor and includes a double bed and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for four.
