Each of the houses offers delightful boutique accommodation with fabulous lake, garden and woodland views.

An ideal location for relaxing breaks and holidays in the heart of nature, Liss Ard Estate offers tranquil stays in the West Cork countryside near the village of Skibbereen. Activities available on the estate include fishing and kayaking on the enchanting little lake of Lough Abisdealy, hiking, or just enjoying the fabulous gardens. Lying in the heart of the estate, a spectacular surprise awaits visitors: the Irish Sky Garden, a huge man-made crater with a monolithic 'Vault Purchase' or plinth at its centre.

Firmly committed to the ideals of proximity cuisine and organic produce, the restaurant at Liss Ard Estate offers simple, uncomplicated menus based on the finest ingredients from West Cork, with the focus on fresh, seasonal food from local artisan producers. Bread, scones and biscuits are freshly baked every day in the restaurant kitchen, and the small but carefully chosen wine list offers excellent pairings for all dishes.

Garden Mews Classic Twin:
These charming rooms sit opposite the main house in the renovated 19th-century stable block. The twin room on the ground floor has direct access to its own small garden area whilst the twin on the first floor has a view overlooking the walled garden and parterre. There are two fixed single beds and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower (the ground floor twin also has a bath); Bathrooms are 4-5 sq m in size and have Japanese-style screens. Rooms have a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra cots/beds are available on request in some rooms. Room size 12 to 15 sq m.
Lake Lodge Classic Double:
Most of the Classic Doubles are located in the Annexe section of the Lake Lodge and accessed privately from the side or back of the building. All have king-size beds with the exception of one with a 5ft bed, and have en-suite bathrooms; most rooms have a free-standing bath tub and separate walk-in shower, while some have either a shower or bath tub. Bathrooms are 3-6 sq m in size and have sliding Japanese style screens. Rooms have a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra cots/beds are available on request in some rooms. Room size 9 to 21 sq m.
Garden Mews Classic Double:
These rooms sit opposite the main house in the renovated 19th-century stable block. Most rooms on the ground floor have direct access to their own small garden area and rooms on the first floor have views overlooking the walled garden and parterre. There is a double bed (some with king-size beds) and an en-suite bathroom; some rooms have a free-standing bath tub and separate walk-in shower, while some have either a shower or bath tub. Bathrooms are 3-5 sq m in size and have Japanese style sliding screens. Rooms have a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra cots/beds are available on request.

Lake Lodge Deluxe Lake View:
Both Deluxe Lake View bedrooms are located inside the main Lake Lodge building and have magnificent views of Lough Abisdealy. The suites themselves are between 20 and 30 sq m with king-size beds and are perfect for guests looking for extra space and luxury or for those travelling with children who wish to room together as a family. One suite has a particularly large bathroom with bath, separate walk-in shower and double basin. The other suite has an interconnecting room available if required (at extra cost). The bathrooms have sliding Japanese-style screens. Rooms have a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra cots/beds are available on request.
Country House Deluxe Double:
These Country House Deluxe Doubles (one available as a twin) are bright rooms with breathtaking views over Lough Abisdealy or the surrounding woodland and countryside. They range in size from 12-25 sq m with 5 or 6ft king-size beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath tub and separate walk-in shower (one suite has a bath tub and shower combined). There is a flat-screen TV and radio and extra beds are available on request. Premium TV channels, Wake up calls, Housekeeping (daily), Hair dryer, Television, Iron / ironing board (on request). Some rooms can accommodate additional children or adults.
Country House Suite:
The Country House Suite is a large two-room suite with a bay window and views over the forest towards the south and Lough Abisdealy. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and in keeping with this gracious period house. The 25 sq m bedroom section has a 6ft king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath tub and separate walk-in shower as well as a separate WC. The 35 sq m seating area comes with a large three seater couch and two arm chairs. There is also a flat-screen TV and radio, and extra beds are available on request.
