Description: The RoxburyWithin the foothills of the Catskill Mountains of New York lies The Roxbury, an incredibly unique getaway designed to enlighten your senses via its themed rooms and delightful surroundings. The Roxbury was designed to be unlike hotel before it through its Bespoke rooms and cottages, outdoor swimming pool, full spa, and a direct path to a 50-foot waterfall. Stepping into the Roxbury is like walking into a movie set of Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland, together.The Roxbury actually consists of three area of rooms; the tower cottages, the mansion rooms, and the rooms at the Roxbury Motel. All have been bequeathed with designs to explore your senses and are all within two miles from each other. One of the Roxbury’s main attractions is the waterfalls set within a gorge nearby that now guests can finally access. Guests can attempt to scale the gorge, but may also prefer to enjoy its views from the observation decks or even just by exploring the trail system surrounding it. Type of rooms: The RoxburyThe Roxbury and its three accommodation areas provide the utmost recharging experience. Each section is designed differently.The cottages were imagined as fairytales. They feature high ceilings, two bedrooms each with a bathroom, two stories connected by staircases, living area with sofa bed, back porches with dining tables, sun balconies, fridge, microwave, and observation decks of the surrounding nature from the third floor. The themes of the cottages are: The Lost Horizon: The concept is Hollywood grand art -deco making people feel like they have stepped into a movie set and adorned with black, white, and grey hues. The Superhero incognito: This cottage is sharp white with whimsical designs and paintings of many superheroes. Galileo’s Gate: This multi-dimensional space is designed from the time of Galileo on the first floor to an alien galaxy on the second floor. Terraza of the Titans: This beautiful cottage was created with imagination of being a god. The room is tiled white and has a large mural on the ceiling. Crown of the Pendragons: With the design of a medieval castle, this cottage takes people back in time and provokes a feeling of being seated at the royal round table. Dracula’s Fangs: As the name states, this cottage is designed with hues of black and red and gives an almost sinister vibe to it. Cinderella’s Gown: This cottage is one of the most fairytale like cottage, complete with a large pumpkin carriage and the gown of Cinderella acting as a canopy. It is also the only cottage with a fireplace. The Faerie Forest: This is the most whimsical cottage of all – the outside is brought inside as the interior is met with gardens, vertical plants and much more to depict a fairytale-like scene. The Mansion rooms are the next set of rooms at the Roxbury. They are inspired by the original folklore of and settlers of the town and take guests into a journey into its history. Common features of the mansion rooms are ensuite bathrooms, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, views of the mountains, and either a fireplace or private balcony. The Beautiful Blacksmith: This room features a stone fireplace, king bed, and dual vanity. The Mill of the Frozen falls: This mansion rooms looks like a scene from the movie “frozen” and offers a queen bed and dual vanity. The Brother’s Stratton: With décor from a war movie, this room has high ceilings and amazing views of the surrounding forest. The Ghost and Mrs. Hicks: A smaller room, but nothing less cozy, this room plays on the supernatural and although is bright and floral, almost seems eerie. The Pampered Postmaster: Designed with extra royalty, this room has a private balcony and outdoor shower. The Dashing Haberdasher: The theme for this room is pinstripe suit. The fabulous Firkin Factory: The concept of this room was to feel like one is inside a barrel, complete with a firkin barrel bathtub. The Roxbury also consist of motel rooms which all have themes and concepts from movie from the 1960s-1970s. No matter the chosen room, complimentary breakfast, toiletries, Netflix, fridge, microwave, air conditioning, coffee machine, and luxury linens are all included. Studio Rooms: These are the smallest and coziest rooms with a queen bed and can be joined with other rooms. Classic Contemporary: With slightly more space, the contemporary rooms also feature a kitchenette and king beds. There are a total of seven of these rooms which can be joined with the studio rooms. Suites: The massive suites offer two bedrooms and two floors joined by a winding staircase. The rooms offer a private bathroom with an 85-galloon bathtub.
