Perfect for visiting this part of Normandy, Chateau de Canisy is situated at the base of the Cherbourg peninsula, 8 kilomtres from Saint-Lô and a 35 minute drive from the coast. Mont Saint-Michel, the D-Day beaches and the "Suisse Normande" are all within easy reach. Guests can stroll in the enormous grounds of the château and visit its farm, while activities available in and around the property include tennis, petanque, archery, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, billiards, cycling, boating, fishing, and golf.

Every evening the chef of Château de Canisy creates delicious dinners based on Normandy cuisine from the finest local produce. Guests will enjoy a spectacular selection of local cheeses, and wine tastings can also be organised. Accommodation is provided in 14 luxurious suites, all individually decorated and furnished, and restored in accordance with the magnificent surroundings.
