This charming small hotel offers unique bed and breakfast accommodation in a fabulous heritage setting.Perfect for exploring this fascinating town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980, Erzscheidergården is within easy walking distance of all the main landmarks and attractions of Røros, famous for its characteristic 17th and 18th century wooden buildings. The Rørosmartnan traditional market takes place at the end of February, and is a major tourist attraction. Popular outdoor activities in the winter season include cross-country skiing and dog sledding, while in summer golf, hiking and fishing can be enjoyed. The hotel offers unique trips around the town in its horse-drawn sleigh in wintertime, and a stately carriage in summer. Erzscheidergården has just twenty-four rooms, all delightfully furnished and decorated. Décor is a skilful combination of timber walls and flooring, cosy fabrics, and a careful selection of vintage and antique furniture. A delicious home-made breakfast is served every morning in the dining room, while coffee and cakes are avalable throughout the day.
