Guests can enjoy the midnight sun and long days in summer, and the magnificent snow-scape and Northern lights in winter. A fantastic range of activities are available from Reine, including fishing trips, kayaking, deep sea rafting, diving, fjord cruises, mountain hiking and mountain biking. The old Reine schoolhouse has been converted into a Centre for Arts and Culture, with permanent and temporary exhibitions, multi-media displays, a shop and small cafe. The hotel's restaurant and bar, 'Gammelbua', is located in the old Reine general store. The restaurant serves fresh fish caught right on the doorstep, together with a range of traditional dishes based on the finest local ingredients. The thirty-five cabins at Reine Rorbuer have recently undergone a thorough restoration, and combine the rustic atmosphere of their previous use as fishermen's dwellings with all modern comforts. Most units have a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, and wireless internet connections are available.
