Ideally situated for winter sports holidays, Skarsnuten Hotel stands in the heart of Hemsedal Ski Centre, with forty-eight runs, twenty lifts, snow parks and a large family and children's area. Aside from Alpine skiing, the resort offers cross-country skiing, and the hotel has direct access to the runs. In summer, the region is a paradise for hiking and mountaineering, as well as mountain biking and paragliding. The beautiful fjord and mountain landscapes of Sognefjørd are also within easy reach.

Fine cuisine is also an important part of the experience at Skarsnuten Hotel. At the restaurant, the chefs create delicious menus based on regional recipes and the finest local produce. Featuring a unique design with panoramic windows, the dining room offers breathtaking views over Hemsedal and the mountains. There is also a well stocked wine cellar, and wine tastings can be organised for groups or parties. Guests can also enjoy music, snacks and drinks in the cosy fireside bar or on the terrace.

Budget Room:
These rooms are of the same high standard as all other rooms, except for the view. The rooms have good storage facilities and are equipped with comfortable seating and a desk. One large double bed, or one double bed, or two single beds. Room size 26 sq m.
Double or Twin Room:
These bright, modern rooms have plenty of storage space and tiled bathrooms with heated floors and a shower or bathtub. They have comfortable seating and a desk. One large double bed, or one double bed, or two single beds. Room size 26 sq m.
Deluxe Double or Twin Room:
The Deluxe rooms are guaranteed to have the best view, facing the valley, the ski centre and the mountains. The en-suite bathrooms feature heated floors and come with complimentary L'Occitane toiletries. One large double bed or twin beds. Room size 26 sq m.
Suite:
The suites have an extra living-room, which can be used as an extra bedroom with a sofa-bed for two children. The suites have a fine view of the ski runs, and the en-suite bathroom is equipped with a buthtub and a separate shower. One large double bed or twin beds, one double sofa-bed.
Four-Bedroom Apartment:
This apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a living room with a seating area, fireplace and flat-screen TV with DVD player. Four single beds, one bunk bed, two large double beds.
