Hotel Azul is an exclusive boutique establishment located in the centre of the lively city of Oaxaca. Set in a carefully restored period building, it combines elements of the past and the present to create a unique, luxury atmosphere. Hotel Azul has 21 rooms and suites, all spacious and well appointed with quality furnishings and decoration.

The city of Oaxaca has been a Unesco world Heritage site since 1987, and is now home to a thriving art scene. Aside from its numerous historic buildings - the Monte Albán archaeological site just outside the city, the cathedral, Santo Domingo de Guzmán church, the church of the Company of Jesus - there are many important museums in the city, including the Museum of Oaxacan Cultures, Museum of Contemporary art and the Rufino Tamayo Museum. In keeping with the cultural aspect of the city, boutique Hotel Azul is also an art gallery. Many of its rooms and suites have been decorated and furnished by well known Mexican artists, and incorporate original works of art in their decoration.

Guests can enjoy boutique Hotel Azul's Patio restaurant, which serves gourmet dishes based on recipes from the eight regions of Oaxaca. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace and bar, and a salon with a capacity for 40 guests.

Rubén Leyva enlivened this suite with his signature use of playful shapes and colours. His paintings, with hints of childlike characteristics, offer a landscape of creative freedom while awaiting guests' imagination.
Suite Toledo:

The multi-disciplinary contribution by Francisco Toledo in this suite shows off his dominance of various techniques. Recognised as one of the most important artists in the country, his contribution includes sculpture, stained glass and engraving. All display elements from traditional culture. Suite Villalobos:
12 sq m. King-size bed.
Maestro Villalobos offers a geometric environment with great movement. It is a winding and colourful scenario that does not seek to narrate or tell a specific story.
Suite Zarate:
14 sq m. King-size bed.
This suite shows colourful scenery and multiple figures that coexist in harmony with the guest. The master Zárate manifests important features of his work in this room, through organic shapes presented on a single plane that interact with the guest.
