After a long and chequered history, this charming boutique inn was opened in 2008 and now offers exclusive accommodation in an enviable setting.

Casa Turquesa's central setting means that it is perfect for visiting this historic town. Paraty has remained almost unchanged for centuries, and offers countless fascinating landmarks and monuments, including the Santa Rita chapel, the Nossa Senhora do Rosário e São Benedito church, and Forte Defensor, as well as its charming cobbled streets, which flood once a month at high tide. Guests can go on guided visits around the historic centre, or hike along the fascinating gold trail, dating from the 17th century. Casa Turquesa also offers unique boat trips, on its open whaler, the traditional Saveiro fishing boat or the offshore motor cruiser.

Casa Turquesa boasts a charming courtyard garden for guests' use, featuring a swimming pool with whirlpool feature, a gazebo lounge, a bar and a wine cellar. There is also a quiet reading room with a fireplace for colder days, and a computer and Wi-Fi zone.
