Enjoying a spectacular location overlooking a beautiful little cove in the village of Limeni, Mavromichalai is set in a historic tower house, once the property of Petrobeis Mavromichalis, a Maniot warlord and leader of the Hellenic war of independence against the Ottoman empire in 1821. After a careful and painstaking restoration, the house was converted into an exclusive hotel, and now offers luxury accommodation and friendly, welcoming service in a magnificent sea-front setting.

Perfect for exploring this dramatic region, Mavromichalai is within easy reach of many of Mani's most important landmarks and attractions, including the village of Oitylo and the caves of Diros, along with countless Byzantine churches, tower houses, castles and some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes on the Peloponnese.

Mavromichalai has just six carefully restored and furnished rooms and suites, all elegantly and individually decorated. The rooms are air-conditioned, come with king-size beds and all modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs.
