Perched on a hillside by the town of Pfinztal-Söllingen, Villa Hammerschmiede is set in a carefully restored and renovated late 19th century villa, once owned by the Krupp famikly. After a long and eventful history, this magnificent structure was thoroughly rebuilt and extended in 1992, and now offers exclusive accommodation and fine cuisine in a quiet rural location.

Perfect for exploring this beautiful area of Baden-Wurttemberg, Villa Hammerschmiede is close to the Black Forest and the charms of Baden-Baden, and countless delightful towns and villages nestled at the bottom of the valleys. Numerous hiking routes and trails pass close by the hotel, and the Kraichgau-Stromberg wine route is also close at hand. Within the hotel itself, guests can take advantage of the indoor Swimming pool with counter current system, and a spa and wellness area with a whirlpool bath, steam grotto, and sauna, with a small outdoor area to relax in the wooded gorge. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy rounds on a number of courses within a short drive of the hotel, and special package deals are also available.

The gourmet restaurant at Villa Hammerschmiede serves Michelin star-awarded menus based on the finest regional produce, with French and Mediterranean accents. The popular villa lunch is served every day in the cosy "Gute Stuben".

Villa Rooms:
Small but cosy, these charming rooms are nestled in the romantic original villa building. Cosy and bright, they feature sloping ceilings, and bathrooms with natural daylight in some rooms. Room size 25sqm.
Comfort/Twin Rooms:
These are cosy, modern rooms with warm deep-pile rugs and fresh pastel tones. Located in both the villa building and park wing, they have park views, and most have a balcony or terrace. They come with spacious granite bathrooms with a bath and/or shower, and double sinks. Room size 30 to 40sqm.
Deluxe Rooms:
These rooms are romantically decorated in warm tones and Italian designer furniture. Three of these rooms are on the first floor of the original villa, and come with luxurious marble bathrooms, Italian inlay furniture, antique secretaires, and high-quality fabrics. There are also six more of these luxurious rooms with balconies on the 2nd floor of the park wing, fully renovated in late 2006. Room size 35 to 40sq m.
Junior Suite:
A large Italian designer bed nestled under the dormer window and English carpets provide a sensation of opulent luxury. The junior suites also come with a large blue sofa on which to cuddle up for a cosy evening in front of the designer TV or luxury stereo. Italian inlay furniture, Spanish designer lamps. In the bathroom, elegant "cashmere" granite, granite-tiled shower with side sprays.
Tower Suite:
These fabulous suites feature American cherry wood floors, Italian designer furniture, and innovative armchairs. There is a récamière in the turret for reading, relaxing or enjoying the wonderful park views, which opens onto a wrap-around balcony. The spectacular en-suite bathroom has large French windows opening onto a balcony. Corner bathtub and large shower with side sprays.
Park Suite:
Classic elegance awaits in this two-room suite with gorgeous park views. It features a separate living room and bedroom, and high-quality American cherry wood floors. Large, comfortable designer sofa and Italian inlay furniture. Two large windows and balconies with views over the 25,000 sq m park. Precious blue-eye granite in the bathroom.
Penthouse Suite:
Located on the top floor of the park wing, this spectacular suite is arranged on two floors, with a spiral staircase leading to the upper level. Two large French windows open onto the roof terrace with breathtaking views over the Pfinztal. The immense bathroom measures 30 sq m, and is entirely clad in "cashmere" granite. There is a large corner bathtub, two designer washbasins and a luxury shower enclosure. French windows open directly onto the terrace and provide a gorgeous view.
Fireplace Suite:
This fabulous suite features a magnificent living room with a period fireplace, a separate bedroom, and a spectacular sunlit conservatory. The huge en-suite bathroom has Jacuzzi bathtub.
