A popular trip in summer is the Lake Maggiore Express, which takes visitors on a spectacular cruise around the lake and into Switzerland on a combined ferry-train excursion. Castello dal Pozzo has thirty-eight rooms and suites, the majority in the 18th century palace, while there are eight rooms in the ancient castle building. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with all modern amenities, including flat-screen satellite TVs, Wi-Fi internet connections, mini-bars and safes. En-suite bathrooms come with fluffy bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.
