Locanda La Raia is a biodynamic farming estate with some comfortable bedrooms, a relaxing spa, an onsite restaurant and wine cellar and an outdoor swimming pool with view of fields on rolling hills.

Interiors are smooth, clean and modern while the best historic architectural elements have been left intact: a stone mantle piece, arched ceilings. The bedroom style is minimalist so the quality of each element is highlighted. The bedside table for example, in the Large Double Room, is a solid polished tree trunk. Simple, yet beautiful.

The building itself is perched on a hilltop with rows of crops below and beyond. The entrance leads you through a large new herb garden shaped like a leaf. There are chairs and tables with sun umbrellas on the lawn to enjoy the view of the surrounding agricultural mosaic.

There is no capacity for extra beds. An existing bed may be used by one child under 12 years old and is charged per night.
