Description: Locanda Marchesi AlfieriStanding in the grounds of a magnificent 18th century baroque castle, Locando Marchesi is a boutique guest house set in a painstakingly restored period building. Ideally located for exploring this beautiful corner of Piedmont, the historic towns of Alba and Asti are within easy reach of San Martino Alfieri, while both Casale Monferrato and Turin are less than an hour's drive away.Marchesi Alfieri is a producer of fine Barbera d'Asti, Monferrato and Piemonte DOC wines, and guests can enjoy guided tastings of the winery's most representative products after visiting the park, the baroque Orangerie and ancient cellars. Locanda Marchesi Alfieri has just seven rooms, all elegantly appointed and spacious. The rooms are air-conditioned, come with large double or twin beds and feature a range of amenities, including flat-screen satellite TVs and Wi-Fi.
