Inspired by the "Rough Luxe" movement, rooms and public areas at Hotel la Semilla feature an incredible selection of carefully placed furniture and artefacts from Mexico's finest flea markets and Yucatan haciendas. White is the predominant hue, providing a relaxing, timeless ambience.

The perfect spot for relaxing stays in bustling Playa del Carmen, Hotel la Semilla is located on Calle 38, just footsteps away from the famous Quinta Avenida. Surrounded by lush gardens, cenotes, and Mayan ruins, it is an oasis of calm in the trendiest part of the city.

Hotel la Semilla boasts a large garden terrace, where romantic candles are lit every evening and complimentary drinks are served. There is also a rooftop terrace and bar, with fabulous views of the jungle and the Caribbean, and breakfast is served every morning in the unique Cocina Loft, a cosy veranda area with comfortable seating, sofas and coffee tables.

Quartitos - Small Double:
Quartitos are charming little rooms but big on personality. They are modern-style rooms with minimalistic décor, and feature air-conditioning and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. They come with a queen-size bed, and measure about 20 sq m.
Quartos - King Double:
These larger rooms have a seating area and a balcony with lush garden views. Like all rooms in the hotel, they feature organic forms and rough luxe décor, with unique vintage furnishings and original works of art. The en-suite bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. They are furnished with a king-size bed, and measure about 23 sq m.
Quartos Terraza - Double with Terrace:
These uniquely decorated rooms offer a harmonious ambiance, and feature a large furnished terrace with garden views. They are air-conditioned, and come with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. One queen-size bed. Room size 20 sq m plus 5 sq m terrace.
Suites Terraza - Suite with Terrace:
These spacious suites feature a large terrace with an outdoor bath or shower, and offer panoramic views of the cenotes. They also have a comfortable seating area, an en-suite bathroom, and a king-size bed. These rooms measure approximately 30 sq m, with an 8 sq m terrace.

All rooms feature: complimentary Wi-Fi; air-conditioning; organic local amenities; in room safe. In keeping with Hotel La Semilla's laid-back, bohemian philosophy, televisions are not available.
