Outdoor activities available include hiking, horse riding, or according to the season, observing the olive harvest and oil processing. Masseria Susafa is also ideally placed for exploring Palermo, Cefalu, the Temples in Agrigento, the mosaics of Piazza Armerina, and the little towns of Madonie (Polizzi Generosa , Petralia , Castelbuono , Gangi ) or Sperlinga, one of ''the prettiest villages in Italy.'' On site, Masseria Susafa also boasts a large outdoor pool, perfect for cooling dips at any time of the day.

Masseria Susafa's restaurant "Il Granaio", is a setting with extraordinary character, having once been, as its name suggests, the old granary of the farm. Here, guests can enjoy a range of set menus or à la carte dining, based on Italian cuisine, but with a special emphasis on the immense variety of local traditional gastronomy and the finest locally sourced ingredients. Many of these come from the Masseria's own farm, particularly Susafa's gourmet olive oil. The restaurant also boasts en excellent wine cellar, with some of Sicily's finest labels, along with a select choice of national wines. The bare stone walls, its carefully restored pointed arches, a great fireplace at the end of the room and warm Sicilian terracotta create a unique atmosphere for dining.
