Located in a late 19th century building in the Ribeira quarter, it was painstakingly restored between 2011 and 2012, and now offers simple but comfortable decoration and a friendly and informal atmosphere.In Patio Guest House's rooms have all been individually designed, and feature modern, comfortable interiors and furniture combining traditional elements and materials from the original architecture of the building. All are fully equipped with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, and feature modern amenities such as TVs with satellite channels, wi-fi and cable internet access, minibars and safes. In Patio Guest House is just a short walk from some of the most interesting sites in Oporto: the cathedral, Torre dos Clérigos, Luis I bridge, Palácio da Bolsa or the port cellars. Both the Alfandega museum and congress centre, and the Sao Bento train and metro station are within a 5-minute walk.
