Ideally located in Méthamis in the heart of Provence, this charming bed and breakfast is an authentic 17th century building with a spectacular view of the Nesque valley, the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux. Lovingly restored by its present owners, Metafort offers boutique-style accommodation in a unique setting.

Within easy reach of many of the region’s most important attractions, such as Venasque, Pernes les Fontaines, Gordes, Mont Ventoux and the Luberon National Park, Metafort is a fabulous spot for relaxing stays in this fascinating area of Provence. Boasting a large outdoor pool, guests can also enjoy bicycle hire on site, while other outdoor activities available nearby include hiking, canoeing and kayaking, among many other possibilities.

Breakfast is a special time at Metafort, and every morning the hosts offer a magnificent spread of either English or continental-style food. Organic, locally sourced produce, including an assortment of home-made cook-in-the-cauldron jams, fresh fruit, gluten-free home-baked cakes and biscuits, and eggs in all their forms, are just a few of the highlights. Breakfast can be enjoyed indoors, by the pool, or at a small table by the canyon. On Saturday evenings, delicious table d’hôte dinners are also available.

The Opaline Room: This an exceptional bedroom; spacious and very bright. This room has a lounge area with a vintage atmosphere including a Nordic-style sofa and a Jacuzzi to relax in. 2 guests. One super king-size bed 180 x 200 cm. 2nd floor room, stair access.
The Lilly Room: This room charms with its cosy, zen and refined feeling. Dominant colours are white with shades of grey. Modern decoration, a creative chair and a restored old wardrobe mix perfectly. Like all the rooms in the B & B, it has its own private Jacuzzi, open to the room with no separation. The view overlooks the village rooftops and further afield to Luberon. 2 guests. The Cocoon Room: This is an exceptional bedroom; spacious and very bright. Views of the garden, the pool and the village. It has a lounge area with a vintage atmosphere including a Nordic-style sofa and a Jacuzzi. 2 guests. One super king-size bed 180 x 200 cm. 2nd floor room, stair access.
Diamantina Suite: This is a beautiful bedroom where everything has been thoughtfully created with well-being in mind. It features freshly restored terracotta tiles, light linen veiling and a large separate bathroom equipped with the house’s largest Jacuzzi. It also has a large lounge area with a contemporary design, a Wassily chair by Marcel Breuer, a Cassina sofa and a lovely coffee table found at the flea market in Isle sur la Sorgue in the Luberon. The bedroom opens up onto an astonishing view of the valley. A bedroom for lovers of sophisticated décor. 2 or 3 guests. One king-size bed 160 x 200 cm. Ground floor room.
The Big Flat: This 2-person cottage, a real independent apartment, will charm with its wooden floor, high ceilings, light linen veiling and its plunging view of the infinity pool. The Flat has a separate, somewhat secret entrance that opens onto a large terrace. Its small functional kitchen offers a welcoming dining area adjacent to the terrace, with a table and designer sunbeds by Pascal Bauer. The bedroom also offers a small lounge area with a vintage atmosphere. The large separate bathroom has a private jacuzzi. 2 Guests. One super king-size bed 180 x 200 cm. Ground floor. Private kitchen, small lounge area, dining area, large terrace.
“Under the stars” Bedroom: On the top floor of the house, this unique bedroom features a sliding bed that can be set on the terrace for a night under the stars. One king-size bed 160 x 200 cm. 3rd floor, stair access.
L’Annesque: A separate annex, L’Annesque offers a breathtaking view from the double bed and the spa bath. Its unique location, large bay windows, 100% wooden design, simple yet refined furnishings, makes L’Annesque ‘’the new place to be’’ in Provence. This room has no TV or Internet to completely disconnect. Binoculars will allow guests to reconnect with the surrounding nature. It also features a private garden area. Small annex for 2 guests. Ground floor. One king-size bed 160 x 200 cm.
