Suite:
Superbly situated along the lakefront and just a short walk from the main lodge, these spacious suites offer their own private balconies overlooking Lake Wakatipu. These larger suites feature a sitting area and fireplace, wired and wireless Internet access, comprehensive mini-bar, LCD TV, DVD-CD player, iPod connection and security safe, en-suite bathroom with an oversized bathtub, twin vanities, and a separate shower cubicle. Two outlying rooms, two within the main lodge. One king-size bed, one extra bed available on request and at a charge. Suite size approximately 73 sq m.
Deluxe Suite:
The largest suites at Matakauri Lodge have commanding views of Lake Wakatipu and the glorious snow-capped mountains. The Main Lodge Suite offers the convenience of proximity to lodge facilities. These suites feature a balcony, a sitting area and a fireplace, wired and wireless Internet access, a comprehensive mini-bar, and an LCD TV, DVD-CD player, iPod connection and security safe. Matakauri Owner's Cottage:
The Matakauri Owner's Cottage has been especially designed for families and groups of friends traveling together, offering accommodation for up to eight guests. The Owner's Cottage is superbly positioned to offer uninterrupted lake and mountain views and boasts a spacious main lounge, a study, a kitchen and a dining room. It is the perfect place to relax after an adventurous day out experiencing all that the Queenstown region has to offer, with the addition of an outdoor courtyard area with barbecue and cooking facilities for a chef if private in-house dining is preferred. The Matakauri Owner's Cottage features: four generous bedrooms with walk-in-wardrobes; open fireplaces; large bathrooms with stunning views from the bathtubs; private balconies overlooking the magnificent Lake Wakatipu and a spectacularly located private hot tub on the main balcony. The Owner's Cottage is available to rent as a two-bedroom or a four-bedroom cottage. Cottage size 465 sq m.
