In the historic medina of Rabat, Morocco is Riad Kalaa 2, a brother property to the original Riad Kalaa renowned for its excellence in hospitality and design. Riad Kalaa 2 is as chic as it is traditional, blending natural materials with modern services. The riad features a central patio adjacent to the kitchen and a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and breathtaking views of the medina. A Moroccan breakfast is served daily on the patio including specialties from Rabat. Riad Kalaa 2 also features its own refined restaurant KALAA, just steps out from the riad. In addition, the riad has its own spa service.

There are a total of nine bedrooms at the riad with decor inspired by the major cities of Morocco in including the African décor of Tarfaya, tawny colours of Marrakech, and zellige of Fez. The rooms are meant to bring guests on a journey throughout the country.

Centred in the medina of Rabat, Riad Kalaa 2 is extremely close to the major sites, tastes, and smells of the city. It is moments away from the Kasbah des Oudayas and Rue des Consuls plus just a short drive to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean such as Plage de Rabat.

Type of rooms: Riad Kalaa 2

The nine rooms of the riad are divided into five categories. Each room features central heating and air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, safe, private bathroom, hairdryer, toiletries, desk, linen, and minibar.

Standard Single Room: This cozy room of 18 sqm features a double bed and accommodate one guest. The views of the inner patio are stunning and the interior is inspired by Chichaoua.
Standard Room: The standard rooms are also 18 sqm in size with a double bed to accommodate two guests. The décor gets its inspiration from Ifrane and is located on the mezzanine floor.
Deluxe Room: The deluxe rooms are spacious 25 sqm rooms with either a double bed or two twins to host up to two guests. They are located on the first floor with décor from Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, and Zagora. They each feature a small seating area and views of the patio.
Junior Suites: There are two junior suites in the riad inspired by the African designs of Tan-Tan and Tarfaya. They are both situated on the ground floor and span 30 sqm over two stories. Tan-Tan has two double beds and a seating area while Tarfaya features a double bed and two single beds. Both can accommodate up to four guests.
Suite Prestige: This prestige suite is a grand 30 sqm with a double bed to accommodate two guests. It is situated at the top of the riad offering amazing views of the medina rooftops of Rabat from its own private terrace. It also features its own lounge with a fireplace, courtesy tray of tea and coffee, and décor from Kasbah des Oudayas.
