Apotek Hotel is set in a carefully restored heritage building, originally designed 1917 by Guðjón Samúelsson, the former State Architect of Iceland. This well known landmark in the centre of Reykjavík was formerly the location of the Reykjavíkurapótek pharmacy, and now houses a fabulous new four-star boutique hotel, offering luxurious accommodation and fine cuisine in a privileged central setting.
