The hotel also features an outdoor dining space on the garden terrace offering a unique gastronomic experience or afternoon tea. The garden space is also used for yoga classes.

Classic rooms or wooden suites are all found at Rufflets Country House. Due to the natural surroundings, most accommodation has views of the gardens or woodlands, but all ensure a splendid and relaxing holiday.

Rufflets Country House is in close proximity to many activities such as swimming at West Sands Beach, hiking the Fife Coastal Paths, or golfing at one of many of St. Andrew’s golf courses including the most famous Old Course.

Rufflets Country House features 21 different rooms, suites, and houses each with their own unique characteristics and features. All accommodation types offer Wi-Fi, bathrobes, TV, toiletries, hairdryer, desk, and coffee/tea making facilities.

Standard Rooms: These spacious rooms are located in the east wing of the mansion with partial views of the gardens.
Classic Rooms: The classic rooms offer a choice between a king, queen, or two twins, and are locate din the original house. Some feature a balcony while others are more modern.
Superior Rooms: These rooms are bright and sunny with vibrant colours. They feature private parking, garden views, minibar, and a choice of a king or two twins.
Gatehouse Rooms: These two room types are adapted for those with decreased mobility. They have a large seating area, ensuite bathroom, and walk-in shower. The living area also features a sofa bed.
Turret Rooms: The Turret rooms feature lovely garden views from the seating area and a bedroom with a four-poster or king bed. The décor is romantic inspired by Romero and Juliet.
The Gilroy Suite: This handsome suite has its own separate seating area with a fireplace and faces the south with views of the garden. There is a minifridge and the bedroom offers a king or two twins.
The Orchard Suite: This colourful suite has a large bedroom with a king bed and a separate living area opening to a private garden and parking space.
Woodland Suites for Couples: These lovely woodland suites are perfect for a secluded romantic getaway. They feature a kitchenette, double bed with star-gazing skylight, fireplace, free-standing copper bathtub, and a delicious Scottish breakfast each morning.
Woodland Suites for Families: These spacious private suites are perfect for extra space. They offer a bedroom with a double bed and star-gazing skylight, a living area with a pullout bed, outdoor copper bathtub, kitchenette, sundeck, fireplace, and a full Scottish breakfast.
Kinness House: The Kinness House is unlike the other suites or rooms. It is a separate house to host up to eight guests with a lounge and balcony providing views of the gardens. The house features its own full kitchen, dining area, four bedrooms, and four ensuite bathrooms. The lounge area has a TV and fireplace and there is a utility room with laundry service.
Burnside West and East Cottages: These private holiday lodges have all the amenities a group of four could ask for: full kitchen, living area, dining space, and lovely views of the gardens. The cottages can be connected to create a space for a large group.
