This unique property enjoys a spectacular location, lying between an idyllic white sand beach on the South China sea, and a beautiful mangrove swamp in the Setiu Wetlands. Set in twenty carefully restored Terengganu heritage houses, between one-hundred and two-hundred and fifty years old, these former fishermen's dwellings have been splendidly refurbished, and offer comfortable accommodation in a tranquil, beach-front setting.

Perfect for quiet visits to this spectacular region, Terrapuri Heritage Village offers guests fabulous views of the palm-fringed beach from its unique, stilted villas. The village has a fine outdoor pool, and guests can make use of the Rumah Pulau Rusa, a century old timber palace converted into a reading room, where computers with internet access are available. The village's tour desk offers a wide range of activities and services, from visits to the nearby firefly sanctuary, and the terrapin conservation centre, to tours of the bustling city of Kuala Terengganu. Car, bicycle and kayak hire are available on site, and other activities include snorkelling and scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters of the sea.

Authentic Malay cuisine is served at the Sesayap Courtyard restaurant, and there is also a fully equipped meeting room for small, exclusive conferences or private dining. Guests can also take advantage of a traditional spa, and there is also a gallery exhibiting local arts and crafts, and the Serengas shop, with a hand-picked selection of the finest antiques, artefacts and books from Terengganu and the rest of the region.

Offering sea views and spacious interiors, this beautiful timber-frame villa is located near the reception and features twin vanities. One extra-large double bed. Room size 75 sq m.
