Located in the heart of the charming Somerset village of Wedmore, The Swan is set in a historic village pub, originally opened as a beer house in the early 1700s. After a number of ownerships, the property has been lovingly restored by its present owners, and now offers cosy accommodation and great food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

A delightful spot for visiting this beautiful corner of Somerset - the Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are just over five miles away - The Swan has just seven individually decorated rooms, located on two floors of the hotel. Hearty food is served throughout the day, in the dedicated restaurant, the pub, the garden terrace or at the front of the building. Food is delicious and seasonal, based on the finest produce that Somerset's farms have to offer, accompanied by a select wine list from around the world, and of course an excellent range of beers and ales from some of the finest small breweries in the country.

Small Double Room:
Located at the rear of the hotel, this cosy little room comes with a super-king deluxe divan bed. It also comes with an en-suite bathroom with a deep, double-ended bath and under-floor heating.
Double Room:
Located at the rear of the building, the Double Rooms feature a stylish, white décor punctuated with vibrant bursts of colour, and a sleek en suite bathroom. They also feature freshly ground coffee, an iPod docking station and a flat-screen TV/DVD player. Free Wi-Fi is available, as well as luxury toiletries and soft towels. One king-size bed. Room size 17 sq m.
Large Double Room:
Spacious room decorated in calm, light colours with a king-size bed, Egyptian linen, and French vintage furniture. They feature a sleek en-suite bathroom with a power shower, and two boast luxurious claw-foot baths in the room. One king-size bed. Room size 20 sq m.
Loft Room:
Located on the second floor, in the loft, the hotel's large 7th bedroom is decorated in dusky pinks, blues and greys, with a king size bed and a claw-foot bath in the room. A collection of French antique milk glass pendant lights hangs from the ceiling and a free-standing marble topped dresser with a bowl sink sits in the bedroom. There is a separate wet room with power shower. Room size approximately 22 sq m.

All rooms have flat-screen TVs (with DVD), iPod docking stations, free Wi-Fi access and freshly ground coffee and tea-making facilities. Twin beds, extra beds and baby cots are available on request for some rooms.
