Hacienda de los Santos is located just 2 blocks from the main plaza, mercado and cathedral in Alamos. It is possible to stroll along the cobblestone streets and explore this Spanish Colonial gem on foot.

Housed in the Hacienda is a collection of religious art spanning four centuries, including Santos, Retablos and Ex-Votos. Adorning the rooms are antique Spanish Colonial furnishings. Each room is uniquely appointed. All rooms have wood burning fireplaces adding to the romantic experience of the Hacienda.

Nightlife is pleasant at the Hacienda and may include relaxing on one of the many portals, where most evenings a group of young Mexican men sing romantic ballads. One may also enjoy movies in the theater/conference room, or lectures on the architecture, history and ecosystem of the area. Another favorite is browsing the Hacienda's extensive library. You may wish to end your day enjoying the star filled skies from above the Hacienda in the Mirador. There, you can gaze upon the spectacular and mysterious Sierra Madre Mountains while you enjoy the hospitality of the Hacienda de los Santos.

Margaritas and other favorite beverages may be enjoyed in their revolutionary era cantina. Outside the Hacienda walls you will find Mariachis, and the sweet life of a true small Mexican village at its best.

There are many intimate locations within the walls of the Hacienda for the perfect wedding. Their expert staff can assist in arrangements. Up to 200 guests may be accommodated for the reception. The Hacienda is quickly earning a reputation as a magnificent location for corporate retreats. With few distractions, business can be accomplished quickly, leaving plenty of time for your favorite activities and relaxation.

Summertime in Sonora is exquisitely beautiful, with the monsoon rains. The hillsides and mountains turn a luscious shade of green during this most beautiful season of the year. All bedrooms and dining rooms are air-conditioned. Guests may choose to dine in their spacious rooms by the fireplace, or at one of the many intimate locations over-looking one of the three sparkling tiled pools and colorful Mexican gardens. There is casual dining in the Cantina and in the portales. You may also choose to dine in the more formal beautifully appointed colonial dining rooms. The evening menu changes daily with always three options for the entree. Many of the fresh vegetables and fruit come from the Hacienda's Ranch where they are organically grown. Feel free to discuss with the Chef any personal dietary needs or preferences. The Cuisine of the Hacienda is New American and Sonoran.

Hacienda Guest Rooms: Our 10 Hacienda Guestrooms have either one King or two plush Queen beds and some face various courtyards and pools. They all feature custom furniture, tribal area carpets over Cantera stone floors, large windows with custom shutters, and hand-crafted artifacts and antiques that date back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Enjoy a wood-burning fireplace on chilly evenings and air-conditioning on warm days (each room has individual climate controls), en-suite bathrooms (shower only), direct dial phone, safe, filtered water cooler and iron. An outdoor dining area and a shared patio complete the picture. (Each room is 400 to 500 sq. feet in size.)
Casa Spa Guest Rooms: Our 7 "Casa Spa" guest rooms are meeting the need of a lesser, entry priced accommodation which will permit more families to enjoy the Hacienda de los Santos experience. The rooms feature either one King or two plus Queen beds and all face a small courtyard and plunge pool. Some of the rooms have wood burning fireplaces and all have showers with one "Spa Room" having both a bathtub and separate shower. The rooms are adjacent to the Spa facility which was built in 2015, thus in keeping with a tranquil Spa atmosphere of Casa Spa, there are no television sets or telephones in the rooms. There is however one telephone in the portal which may be used for room service or special requests. Each room has a safe and unlimited bottled water is provided. The floors are beautiful handmade clay tile in the portal and all rooms have sound proof double glazed windows due to the proximity to the street. During festivals there still may be some sound carried into the rooms facing the street side. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in the "Casa Spa" as well as off-street parking nearby. In general, the "Spa Rooms" are similar to "Hacienda Guest Rooms", however less "Colonial" in design and more rustic, yet with a great deal of charm as well as the colorful and comfortable shared portal areas outside of each room. Casa Spa guests are entitled to use all of the facilities of Hacienda de los Santos, including the other three pools, gym and theater at no additional cost. We encourage guests who require the use of a telephone in their room, or possibly a larger guest room, to consider a Hacienda Guest Room.
Estate Suites: Our 7 Estate Suites have either one King or two plush Queen beds overlooking the courtyard and gardens. Shared patio, large en suite bathroom with tub, Mexican tile counters and separate shower. Period antiques and original art. Cantera stone floors, wood burning fireplace, filtered water cooler, refrigerator, direct dial phone, safe and individual climate controls. An outdoor dining area extends the area to over 500 sq. feet.
Master Suites: Our 7 stately Master Suites boast one King or two plush Queen beds with separate living room and reading area with wood burning fireplace. They all have a spacious en suite bathroom with tub, Mexican tile counters, separate shower and high beam ceilings. Filtered water cooler, direct dial phone, safe, individual climate control and outdoor dining area. Original art and antiques. A private patio or balcony extends the total area to 700 sq. feet.
Governor Suite: This gorgeous private suite, beautifully decorated with Spanish Colonial antiques and art, is accessible by private elevator or stone staircase. The windows look directly onto a huge Banyan-type tree (called Nacapul) that is a favorite feeding area for parrots and other birds when the figs are ripe. There is a private patio perfect for dining for up to four persons, as well as a swing for two with a romantic view of the gardens and the stars. The suite has a flat screen TV with a DVD system, a wine refrigerator, a safe, a walk-in closet and a second dining area. The high, King-sized bed in the bedroom has a small ladder to reach it. The bathroom has a large Jacuzzi tub, a walk-in Tikal marble shower, a make-up table and two lavatories.
Mansion Villa: The grand Mansion Villa is decorated with authentic artwork, antiques and amazing views. It boasts a Master bedroom with a King-sized bed and a second bedroom with a comfortable full-sized bed, both made up with 600 thread count luxury linens. Expansive living room, two wood-burning fireplaces, a rooftop terrace spanning the entire villa, two additional private terraces overlooking mountains and gardens, an ample bi-level en suite master bath, and a large flat-screen TV with DVD player. Take your private elevator to the rooftop. The Suite has 1,350 square feet, plus 1,500 square feet of private patio.
Presidential Villa: The Presidential Villa features a King-sized bed with 600 thread count luxury linens, plus a separate living room and private indoor garden area. Two en-suite bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi tub decorated with colonial style tile. The villa has four fireplaces, four direct-dial telephones, large flat screen TV with DVD/VCR, and a private front porch with a view.
