Serene-estate Guesthouse is at your left side after a few hundred meters. Park your car at the front. From Durban by car: Take the N2 North in the direction Pongola/Empangeni (2 -2.5 hours drive). In Mtubatuba turn right (R618) to St Lucia. You enter St Lucia by crossing the bridge over the estuary. At the T-junction turn to the right into the main street: McKenzie Street. You pass the Spar Super market at your left side. When you see a small ticket office and Wimpy Restaurant at the left side, turn left into Dolfyn Street. Take third street to the right into Hornbill Street Serene-estate Guesthouse is at your left side after a few hundred meters. By plane: RICHARDS BAY AIRPORT: Take a domestic flight from Johannesburg International Airport to Richards Bay. You can rent a car at the airport and drive on the N2 northly (50 minutes drive to St Lucia), see above from Durban. Or they can organize a transfer from Richards Bay airport to St Lucia Estuary. Then you are able to rent a car in St Lucia. DURBAN AIRPORT: Take a domestic flight to Durban (accessable from most domestic airports in South Africa like Cape Town, Port Elisabeth, George, Nelspruit etc.). From Durban follow the mentioned route above (about 2 hours drive).
