Description: Teleborg SlottStanding on the shores of Lake Trummen, Teleborg Slott is set in a magnificently restored Gothic-style castle, originally built in 1900 by the eccentric Count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö as a wedding gift for his young wife Anna Koskull. After a number of changes of ownership and uses, the castle was taken over by its present proprietors, and now offers boutique-style accommodation and fine cuisine in an authentic historic castle atmosphere.Ideal for both relaxing lakeside escapes or fulfilling business stays, Teleborg Slott offers many opportunities for outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking or cycling. Bicycles are available for rent on site, and there are also a number of excellent golf courses a short drive from the castle. Teleborg Slott's expansive grounds invite relaxing strolls, and castle visits can be arranged on request. Teleborg Slott also has a number of fully equipped private function rooms, ideal for conferences, corporate hospitality, seminars or private celebrations. Teleborg Slott offers unique accommodation in just 29 rooms, located in the main castle building, the gate-house cottage and the brew-house cottage. The main castle bedrooms have shared bathrooms, while the Grind (gatehouse) and Brygghuset (brew-house) cottages have en-suite bathroosms. On prior booking, Teleborg Slott's restaurant offers delicious gourmet meals that are a feast for both the eye and the taste buds. The elegant dining room's décor and furnishings mean that it is perfect for conference lunches, official dinners or wedding parties, and all dishes are created from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Vegetarian, gluten and lactose-free options are available, and other special diets can be catered for on request. A number of special weekend deals, including romantic stays, gourmet weekends, Christmas or summer concert packs, can all be booked on request. Type of rooms: Teleborg SlottDouble Room with Shared Bathroom:Located in the castle building, these rooms come with a bathrobe and slippers. Some have a tiled stove and views of the lake. Bathroom facilities are found in the same corridor. One large double bed. Room size approximately 15 sq m. Grind & Brygghuset Cottages: The Grind and Brygghuset cottages have an en-suite bathroom/toilet. Grind cottages are located at the entrance to the castle park and Brygghuset is located by Lake Trummen. All are about 200 metres from the main building, just a few minutes walk.
