Schlosshotel Chastè is a historic property that has been in the same family for no-less than twenty-one generations, and is set in a carefully restored and modernised typical Engadin valley farmhouse. Offering fabulous views of Tarasp castle and the Sesvenna Alps, this charming boutique hotel provides luxurious accommodation and fine cuisine in a homely, authentic Alpine atmosphere.

Located in the delightful hamlet of Sparsels, Scholosshotel Chastè is the perfect spot for tranquil, relaxing visits to this spectacular, unspoilt region of the Swiss Alps. Within easy reach of the Scuol-Tarasp and Motta Naluns ski areas, guests can enjoy a wide range of winter sports activities, including downhill and cross-country skiing. In the summer months, the region is a paradise for hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers, while golf enthusiasts can enjoy rounds at the Vulpera course, just three kilometres away. After a busy day in the mountains or on the pistes, guests can wind down in the Wellness area, which features a Kneipp footbath, and Finnish, infra-red and bio saunas. A range of traditional massages is also available.

As a member of Relais & Châteaux, fine cuisine is an essential part of the experience at Schlosshotel Chastè. Here, guests can enjoy inventive regional cuisine served with superb wines from the cellar in three cosy, pine-lined dining rooms.

Superior Single Room:
The Superior Single Rooms have a very nice view of the Engadine mountains. The bathrooms are equipped with bath and separate shower. One large single bed. Room size 23 sq m.
Double Room Superior:
These rooms, furnished with Swiss pine wood have a comfortable living area with a private terrace or balcony. The Bathrooms are equipped with bath or shower and some with rain showers. One king-size bed or twin beds. Room size 20 to 30 sq m.
Junior Suite:
The Junior Suites are furnished with Swiss pine wood and have a spacious living area that is visually separated from the sleeping area. With one exception, all have direct access to a private terrace. The bathrooms are very spacious with shower and bathtub. Some junior suites have a cosy fireplace and/or a four-poster bed. One king-size bed or twin beds, one sofa bed. Suite size 55 to 60 sq m.
Castle Suite:
The Castle Suite has two rooms. The living area is separated by a connecting door to the cosy Swiss pine bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a bath and a separate toilet. The Castle Suite has a unique view of historic castle Tarasp, the village square and the Southern Alps. One king size bed or twin beds, one sofa bed. Room size approximately 55 sq m.
Panorama Suite:
These fabulous suites have a huge living room with an exposed-beam ceiling, a fireplace, flat screen TV, several seating areas and a balcony overlooking the castle of Tarasp. There are two double bedrooms with walk-in closets and two bathrooms with shower and bathtub. Ideal for families. Two king-size beds or twin beds. Suite size approximately 100 sq m.
