The great house of the Marquesses of "La Quinta Roja", now a hotel of the same name, is one of the finest examples of the architecture of the island´s Baroque period. The original building dates back to the 16th Century and coincides with the royal grant of the title by King Charles II to the Marquess of the "Quinta Roja".

The house was never directly affected by the 1706 eruption, which represents a key point and watershed in the fortunes and history of the town. In October 1709 the Sisters of the Order of the Inmaculate Conception took refuge there, in the home of their protector, the Marquess of "La Quinta Roja". After taking over part of the house, the nuns finally moved back to their convent once it had been rebuilt, some 40 years later.

Standard Double: These rooms are all situated on the first floor of the hotel, and overlook the pedestrian street behind the hotel.
Double Plus: These rooms are located on both the first floor (rear view of the pedestrian street) as well as the second floor (overlooking the roundabout and the pedestrian street behind the hotel). They are larger than the standard doubles.
Junior Suite: These rooms are all on the second floor, overlooking the square. The Junior Suites have a corridor with individual sash windows in each room. These are the largest rooms in the hotel.

All rooms are outward facing and are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, double beds, music system, satellite TV, air-conditioning, a desk, toiletries, bathrobe, beach towel, hair dryer and magnifying mirror.
