These include the bridge and the Sant Roc portal, and the castle-palace. La Matarranya is steeped in history, with no less than eighteen historic villages, each with its unique monuments and individual beauty. Close to the Els Ports Natural Park, the region is a hiker's paradise, while cyclists are sure to enjoy the beautiful Via Verde de la Matarranya greenway, an easy route which weaves its way through olive and fruit groves from Valdealgorfa to Cretas. From here, it connects with the Via Verde de la Terra Alta, which continues as far a Tortosa in south-western Catalonia. La Casa de Sebastian has just six individually decorated and furnished rooms, all all elegantly appointed and spacious. Each room is named after a personality linked to the house - general Cabrera, Aunt Iris, Miriam - and features original Aragonese tiled flooring, exposed beams, and carefully restored vintage and antique furniture.
