Ideally placed for relaxing visits to this oasis of calm, away from the bustle of the cities, The Island Lodge offers a number of fabulous on-site activities. Guests can hire mountain bikes for relaxing rides around the island, and discover the little village of Thoi Son, with its early morning market, or hire scooters for even easier access to all the charms of the island. Other options include boat trips through the myriad canals and tributaries of the river, or traditional horse-drawn carriage rides. On site, the Island Lodge boasts a large outdoor pool, and the Cochinchine spa area, with a sauna, jacuzzi and an extensive range of massages and treatments.

For a unique dining experience in the region, The Island Lodge is host to Le Comptoir de Marthe et Edouard restaurant, featuring a fusion of French brasserie cuisine, Vietnamese favourites and typical Mekong Delta dishes. La Manufacture d?Opium is an elegant, colonial style lounge bar, with an authentic Indochinese atmosphere, while Le 10° 19' 44" is a delightful outdoor tropical bar, where guests can enjoy exotic cocktails and cool music for moments of quiet relaxation at sunset.

Mekong River View Rooms:
The Lodge has 8 rooms on the 1st floor of the main building. These rooms offer views of the canopy of fruit tree plantations on the island, and pool views from the terrace. The Mekong river views are air-conditioned, and feature a flat-screen cable TV, safe and an electric kettle. A private bathroom with shower, hair-dryer and free toiletries are included. King-size beds or twin beds. Room size 34 sq m plus 12 sq m terrace.
Pavilions Garden View:
The Lodge has 4 bedrooms on one floor, spread over 2 pavilions named after the two explorers who set out to discover the Mekong River between 1866 and 1868,  Francis Garnier and Ernest Doudart de Lagrée, which passed in front of the plot of the land where the Lodge is built. Offering garden views from the terrace, these air-conditioned rooms feature a sofa, flat-screen cable TV, safe and an electric kettle. A private bathroom with bath, shower, hair-dryer and free toiletries are included. Room size 36 sq m plus 14 sq m terrace.
