Standing at the end of a winding mountain road, Cerro de Hijar has a spectacular location in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. As the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, special care must be taken of the environment, and Cerro de Hijar has been recognised by the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in its efforts to introduce eco-friendly strategies in the area.

Ideally placed for exploring this fascinating region of Andalusia, Cerro de Hijar can organise a wide range of activities for its guests, including hiking and trekking in the natural park, horse riding, mountain biking, 4X4 and quad trails, or gourmet cooking courses and wine tastings in the hotel itself. Junior Suite: Spacious rooms with a large bathroom. They feature either two balconies or one balcony and one window. All Junior Suites have impressive views over the valley. One large double bed or two singles. Room size 25 sq m, bathroom size 8 sq m.
Tower Suite: This is the most exclusive and spacious room in the hotel. It is located in the tower, at the top of a spiral staircase where guests will find total privacy in peaceful, tranquil surroundings. It features a separate seating area and three balconies, with beautiful views to the Natural Park. There is also a Jacuzzi with breathtaking valley views. One large double bed. Room size 59 sq m, bathroom size 8 sq m.
