Description: Patagonia CampLocated on the shores of Lake Toro, and facing the towering peaks of the Paine Massif, Patagonia Camp is set in a unique sustainable structure, consisting of eighteen yurts, the traditional Mongolian tents. Boasting fabulous lake and mountain views, Patagonia Camp offers luxury 'glamping' accommodation, fine, healthy cuisine, and a fabulous range of activities in an idyllic lakeside setting, in intimate contact with nature.Firmly committed to ethical, environmentally sustainable tourism, Patagonia Camp has been built on a minimally invasive structure, using timber piles and structures harmoniously adapted to the local landscape. Every effort is made to reduce the camp's environmental impact, through careful waste management and optimised energy consumption. Patagonia Camp offers a range of all inclusive deals, which include airport transfers, all meals, and a fabulous selection of half and full day excursions. These include trekking and hiking, kayaking and fishing on lake Toro, and condor and wildlife observation trips. Optional extras include kayaking among the icebergs, horse riding on the pampas, or zodiac trips on the Serrano river. Guests may also choose bed and breakfast programmes, and pick and choose from all the camp's fascinating programmes. Patagonia Camp's restaurant serves the finest of Chilean cuisine, based on fresh, locally sourced produce, including delicious lamb, fish and seafood. All meals are expertly paired with house wines from the award-winning organic winery Matetic Vineyards. How to get here: From Puerto Natales: go north and take the Y-290 road to ''Cueva del Milodon'' (Cave of the Milodon). Continue along this road for another 60 km after passing the Milodon Cave. The entrance to the Camp is 4,9 km after the bridge and the ''Rincón'' Cabins, on the right, at km 74. From El Calafate: After crossing the border into Chile and Cerro Castillo, take the road north towards Torres del Paine National Park. After 6 km, at the fork, take the left road leading to the ''Bahía el Bote'' camp site and follow the main road until you reach the crossing with the road to Torres del Paine National Park. Turn right and you will find the entrance to Patagonia Camp 4,9 km after the bridge/ Cabañas Rincón, on the right, at km 74.
