Standing on a charming cobbled lane in the historic centre of Pienza, La Bandita Townhouse is located in a large, renaissance era mansion, once the home of nuns from the nearby convent.After an extensive, painstaking renovation, La Bandita Townhouse opened as a small, intimate boutique hotel in June 2015, and provides a genuine Tuscan village experience in a fabulous heritage setting. While no external changes were made to the historic structure, and no space was added, La Bandita Townhouse offers a comfortable, fun, and stylish place to relax, eat well, and get caught up in the atmosphere and rhythms of daily life in this beautiful hilltop village.

As the quintessencial Val D'Orcia village, Pienza boasts a number of fascinating landmarks, including the Palazzo Piccolomini, the Duomo, the Palazzo Vescovile and the Palazzo Comunale, among many other historic sights. Guests at La Bandita Townhouse have free use of bicycles, the perfect way to explore the narrow streets of Pienza, where guests will find artisan cheese producers, hand-made leatherware, or restaurants and cafés serving traditional regional fare. After a busy day exploring the region, guests can relax with a glass of wine in the charming Medieval walled garden.

The Townhous Café is La Bandita's small in-house restaurant and wine bar, where guests can enjoy a direct interaction with the chef in the open kitchen. The restaurant serves daily changing menus based on classic Tuscan cuisine and the freshest, locally sourced and market-fresh ingredients. Guests can of course expect a fine selection of wines from the vineyards of the Orcia DOC, including Brunello di Montalcino or Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

These double rooms have a sofa-bed, air-conditioning and a mini-bar. One queen-size bed, one sofa bed. Room size 35 sq m.
Junior Suite:
These very spacious Junior Suites feature an immense amount of light, a queen size bed, and a twin bed. There is an oversized bathtub as well as a large shower in the bathroom. Additional features include a balcony, bathrobes and air-conditioning. One queen-size bed, two sofa-beds. Suite size 50 sq m.
