Ideally placed for visiting this beautiful region of Tuscany, La Saracina is within easy reach of Pienza, the jewel of the Renaissance, or both Montepulciano and Montalcino, with their production of great Tuscan wines and superb olive oils. Only slightly further afield are Siena, Arezzo and Perugia. On-site, La Saracina boasts a secluded outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, and lush, shaded gardens. The hotel is also a magnificent base for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking, horse riding or golf.

With just six rooms, all beautifully appointed and named after local vineyards, intimate, tranquil stays are guaranteed at La Saracina. The rooms open onto the Mediterranean garden of lavender and rosemary, and feature open beams, vaulted ceilings and tiled floors, pleasantly complemented by the pastel colours of the walls. The suites have been converted from the old stables and are further enhanced by the presence of open fireplaces and luxury bathrooms, a jacuzzi bath, a marble-tiled shower with soft fluffy coloured towels.
