Recently having undergone a thorough renovation and reconstruction, Das Posthotel has been transformed into a luxury boutique hotel, standing in the heart of the charming resort of Zell am Ziller. Firmly committed to ecologically sound construction methods and practices, Das Posthotel is built in locally sourced timber, including spruce, oak and Swiss pine, which offer a number of unique therapeutic benefits.

Within easy reach of the cable car terminus of the Zillertal Arena Ski area, Das Posthotel is the ideal location for winter sports holidays in this magnificent region. The Zillertal Arena offers 139 kilometres of slopes, with something for skiers of all skill levels and ages. Guests can also enjoy tobogganing, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing, among many other options. Das Posthotel provides a full range of ski services, and a shuttle bus takes guests to the cable car station in just three minutes. Summer visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, e-bikes, the Arena roller coaster and the Arena Skyliner, to mention just a few options.
