The UNESCO World Heritage Village of Ubeda is home to the gothic-styled emblematic building from 1865. It was once considered home and has since taken on various forms. Today it is the hotel of Alvar Fañez. With its marble floors and stone walls, the hotel, of course, hosts many secrets. It has received man reformations and now represents a blend between the 19th and 21st centuries; it offers a lounge and bar and even a games room.

The fourteen rooms of Alvar Fañez demonstrate their history through touches of wooden beams and furniture, crystal chandeliers, regal curtains, and marble and wooden floors. The rooms have been well maintained to give you a dreamy-night’s stay.

Being centered in the historic district means that Alvar Fañez is very close to all that one may desire. The local cuisine is found in Palacio, a nearby restaurant, and culture is rediscovered through the cobblestone streets of this historic village.

Type of rooms: Alvar Fañez

Alvar Fañez consists of divine rooms which surround the inner courtyard, each donning their own mini patio to enjoy the views of the hotel. Every room boasts a TV, safe, minibar, desk, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, toiletries, heating, air conditioning, and a unique style.

Standard Double Room: There are six standard double rooms in the hotel, all very unique in style. Three of these rooms come with a double bed while the other three have two single beds. Some of these rooms offer a private balcony and range between 15-18 sqm. The standard rooms also feature a coffee machine.
Superior Double Rooms: These six rooms feature two single beds which can be joined or divided – the joined beds create a large king bed. These rooms are a spacious 26 sqm and also have their own private balcony.
Suite: There is one suite in the hotel; its 28 sqm and offers either two single beds or a double bed. It has its own lounge area with a sofa and desk, and large windows to look out on the village.
