Locanda Palazzone, Umbria

Dining: Enjoy authentic homemade dishes and seasonal flavors. Dinner is served only by reservation, on the terrace or in the Enoteca. During the summer months they offer a buffet lunch for guests who wish to spend the day by the pool. The menu is fixed, offers 4 courses and changes every day. They also provide a vegetarian menu and take in account any food allergy (tell them at time of reservation). The chef will help you discover local specialties and the Umbrian traditions.

Cooking Classes: afternoon cooking classes for guests. The course will take about two hours and it will be a "private" lesson for maximum two guests, aimed at actively participate in the preparation of the food served during dinner the same evening. If you are interested, contact them for more information and price.

Special Events: Locanda Palazzone is particularly well adapted for hosting weddings or events for a limited number of guests (max 120 persons). For such events the whole Locanda must be rented for a minimum of two nights. They can accomodate up to 18 guests over night and will help to find the extra rooms needed in the near vicinity.
Main Hall: The main hall on the ground floor features four major arches and two large glass doors opening onto the main lawn; this space allows for a reception for 10 to 15 people for dinner. Usually this location is best chosen for an autumn or winter event, when the atmosphere can be even more elegant and warm with the burning open fire.
Enoteca: The Enoteca is located on the lower level with an outside access leading onto the terrace. The elevator links the Enoteca directly to the main hall. They can organize dinner parties for 25 to 30 guests in the Enoteca. This dining room is also used in the spring or in the autumn, when the weather becomes too cold outside after dinner, to continue and finish off the party.
Garden for Drinks & Lunches: On the garden side to the west of the Locanda there is a large lawn that goes all the way to a Sangiovese vine, where they can accomodate a banquet for 120 guests. The terrace faces east; the view looks onto the vines and the valley all the way to the city of Orvieto and the hills at the back of the valley. Here they can serve lunch for 30 to 35 people and drinks for up to 120 persons.

Children: people under 15 years old must share a room with a parent or caretaker.
