The city: Experience vibrant authentic India up close in this major religious hub. Also known as Benares or Kashi, Varanasi is the holiest of seven sacred cities and its population increases during religious festivals. The area does not serve alcohol or meat and is alive with dogs, monkeys, cows and local temple bells.

Stairs: the property is not easily accessible and requires mental and physical effort to reach. There is an elevator at the hotel. Upper floors accessible by stairs only. Not suitable for the disabled.

Smoking: No smoking but there is separate area reserved for smoking. Smoking outdoors also allowed.

Children: All children are welcome. One child under 6 years stays free of charge when using existing beds. All further older children or adults are charged per night for extra beds with breakfast or a bit more for one meal+breakfast.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellations: Summer Season (April to Sep) 15 days prior to arrival date. Winter (Oct to March) 60 days prior to arrival date.

Note: a pre-authorization amount is charged to ensure the validity of the credit card.
