Standing in the heart of the charming historic town of Veere, Bed en Brood is set in a carefully restored and modernised former alms house, originally built in 1819 but reputedly built on the foundations of historic buildings dating as far back as the 15th century. Bed en Brood is an atmospheric boutique bed and breakfast, offering luxurious accommodation in a magnificent historic setting.

Just footsteps from the centre of this picturesque former fishing town, with its beautiful Gothic town hall, its impressive but unfinished church, its quay with charming historical houses, Bed en Brood is ideal for visiting Veere and the Zeeland region in general. Nearby attractions include the harbour, the Veerse lake and the fascinating Museum De Schotse Huizen.

Guests at Bed en Brood sleep in style in just twelve individually decorated and furnished rooms. Spacious and light-filled, the rooms feature genuine period elements such as high ceilings with exposed beams, noble timber flooring and antique fireplaces. Each room has its own modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and larger rooms also feature whirlpool baths. Every morning, a hearty traditional Dutch breakfast is served in the dining area, consisting of delicious fresh breads, cheeses, cooked meats and other fresh treats. Guests can also relax in the historic living room, formerly the mayor's office, built in 1403, or stroll in the large, leafy garden.

These delightful rooms are located on the first floor, and feature a bathroom with a rain-shower or an open bathroom, and a view of the garden or the Korenmarkt. Blu-Ray - DVD player. Twin beds. Room size 26 sq m.
Comfort Room:
These lovely, spacious rooms include a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. They also come with a DVD set and an iPod docking station. One extra bed is available for a third guest, on request. Room size 34 sq m.
Comfort-Plus Room:
These modern, spacious rooms are located on the ground floor, and feature a kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator and a microwave oven. The en-suite bathroom comes with a whirlpool bath, and they are also equipped with a DVD player and an iPod docking station. One extra bed is available in these rooms, on request. Room size 32 sq m.
Luxury Room:
This classically decorated, very spacious room features exposed timber beams and an atmospheric fireplace. It is located on teh ground floor, and comes with an en-suite bathroom with a Whirlpool bath. It also comes with a DVD player and an iPod docking station. The Luxury Room is also adapted for wheelchair access. Room size 36 sq m.
Honeymoon Suite:
This luxurious Bridal Suite features a large sitting area with a sofa-bed, a breakfast corner with a kitchenette, combi-microwave oven and a mini-fridge. The large double bed comes with a two-person mattress topper, and the en-suite open bathroom comes with a two-person Jacuzzi with massage jets and colour therapy, along with a separate rainfall-shower. It also comes with a DVD player and an iPod docking station. Suitable for 2 to 4 guests.

Family Room:
This fabulous, light filled room is located in the attic, and features a separate living room with a double sofa-bed, and a spacious double bedroom. It also has a breakfast corner, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and a combi-microwave. There is a fully equipped en-suite bathroom, with a whirlpool bath, and there is also a separate WC. The room comes with 2 flat-screen Tvs, and a DVD player with an iPod docking station, and is also air-conditioned in summer. Suitable for 4-6 guests. Room size 70 sq m.
