Hotel Vitznauerhof is a historic property standing on the shores of lake Lucerne, in the charming little vilage of Vitznau. Originally built in 1901, it has recently been thoroughly renovated and restored after suffering devastating flood damage in 2005. This luxury boutique hotel now provides exclusive accommodation, fine cuisine and unique spa services in an idyllic lakeside setting.

Located in the shadow of Mount Rigi, Hotel Vitznauerhof is perfect for relaxing visits to this beautiful region. Just footsteps from the spectacular Vitznau-Rigi rack railway, the oldest in Europe, climbing up to 1798 metres to the summit of Mount Rigi, the hotel is also close to the harbour, where historic paddle steamers offer cruises around the lake. Other highlights include the Vitznau fortress and cruises to Lucerne. Other favourite activities include hiking, mountain biking and paragliding, and of course skiing and snowboarding in winter.

Hotel Vitznauerhof has three excellent dining options - the Inspiration Restaurant, the gastronomic Sens restaurant and the fabulous Panorama garden restaurant, all offering magnificent views of the lake.
