The hotel consists of the main house which was the two-storey station, plus eight Edwardian style carriages which have been converted into classy rooms. This award-winning location also serves a delicious breakfast every morning either in the reformed waiting room or on the platform, plus an afternoon tea.

The rooms are full of traditional English flair due to the maintained character of the Pullman carriages and wooden furnishings. For those celebrating a special occasion, prosecco or champagne can be delivered to the rooms.

The prime location of The Old Railway Station is due to its proximity to so many quaint English towns. Petworth is just a short drive away and a center for markets and art, while Midhurst is at the center of the National Park providing a historic market.

Type of rooms: The Old Railway Station

There are four room types to choose from at The Old Railway Station. Each one includes a small seating area, TV, Wi-Fi, private bathroom, coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer, and heating.

Station House Lower Room: One of the more spacious rooms located in the main station, which can adapt to those with reduced mobility, this room has a massive bathroom and a king bed plus a small dining space.
Station House Upper Room: This room is the largest at the hotel located on the upper floor of the station accessed by a spiral staircase. It has a super king bed or two twins and a large shower. The room can accommodate up to three guests if a third bed is added.
Classic Pullman Carriage Rooms: The six rooms of this style all feature a double bed and small seating area for guests to enjoy private meals.
King Pullman Carriage Rooms: The two rooms of this style have a large king bed and are more spacious the classic rooms. These two also have a seating area to enjoy breakfast and tea inside the room.
