Standing in the midst of some of Tropical North Queensland's most breathtaking scenery, Mt. Quincan Crater Retreat is the ideal spot for visiting this spectacular region. Surrounded by abundant natural areas and a fully functioning cattle breeding property, the area is home to a number of unique wildlife species, including Lumholtz's Tree-Kangaroo, which can frequently be seen from the tree houses. Guests can enjoy a fabulous range of outdoor activities in and around the retreat, such as a huge range of walks, wildlife tours, adventure fishing, cycling, golf or even hot-air ballooning.

Each of the six tree-houses at Mt Quincan Crater Retreat is fully secluded and completely private, and offers commanding, stunning views of the Tablelands and Mt. Quincan Crater. Luxuriously appointed with a double spa bath, they are furnished and decorated in noble timber and cosy fabrics. All cabins have a unique revolving central fireplace, and come with full kitchen facilities.

Luxury Tree Houses:
These fabulous Tree Houses feature a two-person spa bath, a rotating fireplace and a private balcony overlooking the Atherton Tablelands. There is also a comfortable lounge area with sofas, cushions and wonderful views. The Tree Houses come with a fully equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, hotplates, convection microwave along with local plunger coffee, instant coffee, assortment of teas, sugar, oil salt and pepper etc. The en-suite bathroom features double showers with natural soaps and organic bath products, quality fluffy towels and hair dryer. One king-size bed.
Canopy Cabins:
Otherwise identical to the Luxury Tree Houses, the Canopy Cabins feature a secluded outdoor deck and an open-air shower.

All tree houses feature: TV, VCR, DVD, iPod docking station and surround sound; reading material, wraparound robes and knitted sox; complimentary Wi-Fi Internet connection; laundry facilities with washing machine, dryer, tub and free washing powder.
