Summer visitors are also spoilt for choice, with hiking, mountain biking, golf and even year-round skiing on the slopes of the Glacier Paradise. An essential trip is the Gornergrat railway, the highest in Europe.

Fire, water, earth, air - the four elements are represented on every level of the hotel. Each of the fifteen suites has been dedicated to one of the elements, and the themed decoration is reflected in the colour concept, materials and down to the smallest detail. These themes are continued in the hotel's spectacular spa and wellness area, with an indoor pool, unique Schnaps Distillery sauna, brine grotto and aroma therapy steam bath. Guests can also enjoy drinks and snacks in the cosily decorated Bar 55, or unique get-togethers and wine tastings in the underground wine cellar.
