Hotel Matthiol is ideally located for winter holidays in this beautiful historic resort, and offers easy access to the Furi and Matterhorn Express cable cars. An immense range of winter sports are offered, and the hotel has full ski facilities, including ski storage and a ski school. After busy days on the pistes or in the mountains, guests can wind down in the magnificent Spa and Wellness area, which features a steam room, herbal sauna, Finnish sauna and Black Pearl whirlpool, as well as a fully equipped fitness room.

Hotel Matthiol's fabulous new building has been unobtrusively designed to blend in with the landscape, and features traditional Swiss chalet style construction. Natural timber, granite and slate are all skilfully combined to create an elegant, cosy ambience, while furnishings and fabrics contribute to an airy, light-filled setting. The hotel's restaurant serves unique menus based on innovative yet authentic cuisine, with traditional recipes and the finest local ingredients. On Sunday's in the summer, barbecues are offered on the Matthiol terrace.

Standard Double:
I am 29qm big and I have a shower, toilet, sink but I do not have a balcony.
I have a connecting door to a double room deluxe and a Matterhorn Spa Double room.
It is possible to stay with 2 adults and 1 small child up to 3 years old in a baby cot in my room.
Deluxe Double:
In my 21-29qm big room you have a view to the Gornergrat. Not all the rooms have a balcony. In my bathroom you will find a shower, sink and a toilet.
I have a connecting door to a double room standard or a spa double room.
The maximum people in my room are 2 adults and a child up to 3 years old in a baby cot.

Spa Double Room:
On my 33qm you will find a sauna, hammam , free standing bath tub and a tea station. From my room you will enjoy the view of the surroundings. Maximum of 2 adults and a child up to 3 years old in a baby cot. Some rooms have a balcony. I have a connecting door to a double room deluxe.

Matterhorn Spa Double Room:
I am the King of all the rooms with my 37qm. to really enjoy. You will find a sauna, hammam and a free standing bath tub with view to the Matterhorn. You will find in the bathroom a toilet and a sink. After the sauna and hammam you can enjoy a tea from your tea station.
I have a connecting door to a standard double room and a second Matterhorn spa double room.
You can stay in my room with two adults and a child up to 3 years old in a baby cot.
